Synopsis
Letty is having a monster of a bad day. He can’t fly, breathe fire, and was just kicked out of his family’s lair. Hapless and homeless, this beast needs new digs, but where to start? Enter Dearia, the Demon Lord of Real Estate, making buyers’ dreams come true. Alas, that unique fixer-upper listing shown was infested with a horde of undead squatters—and no fireplace. “Dragon Goes House-Hunting” is a delightful anime series that combines elements of fantasy and comedy. The story revolves around a red dragon named Letty.
Unlike other dragons, Letty is meek, cowardly, and has overall low stats. After failing to live up to the fearsome standards set for him, his family kicks him out. He embarks on a quest to find a new home but soon finds that life on the road is no place for a cowardly beast of legend.
In a fantasy world full of elves, dwarves, and other mythical creatures, the frustrations of house-hunting reach a whole new level. During his journey, he encounters the elf Dearia, who saves him from a band of heroes. Dearia offers to help Letty find the perfect abode that suits his needs. Thus ensues Letty’s house-hunting quest, as well as all the fantastical creatures and formidable enemies he meets along the way.
The anime does an excellent job of portraying Letty’s journey as he navigates through a world filled with mystery and supernatural elements. His character is well-developed, with his quest for a more fulfilling life adding depth to his character. The animation quality is top-notch, with detailed character designs and vibrant colors that bring the world of “Dragon Goes House-Hunting” to life.
