Editor's Review
“Sengoku Night Blood” is an anime series that offers a unique blend of action, fantasy, and romance. The series revolves around a world known as Shinga, which resembles the Sengoku period—a turbulent time in Japanese history known for long civil wars. In this world, non-human creatures live in harmony with humans. This harmony was maintained under the governance of Himemiko, a woman with the power to protect Shinga. However, due to her mysterious disappearance, the world has fallen into disarray.
The series is characterized by its intriguing plot and a large cast of fun characters. Each episode presents a new challenge for the characters, keeping viewers engaged and entertained. The series is also praised for its comedic elements, with jokes and puns that are easy to understand and often result in laugh-out-loud moments.
However, “Sengoku Night Blood” is not without its flaws. Some viewers may find the series’ pacing to be uneven. Additionally, the series can be a bit rough around the edges, particularly in its early episodes. The voice acting is fine, but the characters are not the worst thing ever, even if they are entirely forgettable. Watching this soon became a chore, one that not even all the hunky boys can make worth it.
Despite these minor shortcomings, “Sengoku Night Blood” remains a standout series. Its unique premise, engaging characters, and complex plot make it a must-watch for any anime fan. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the genre or a newcomer, “Sengoku Night Blood” is sure to provide an enjoyable and memorable viewing experience.
