Synopsis
On her sixteenth birthday, orphan Himari Momochi inherits her ancestral estate that she's never seen. Momochi House exists on the barrier between the human and spiritual realms, and Himari is meant to act as guardian between the two worlds. But on the day she moves in, she finds three handsome squatters already living in the house, and one seems to have already taken over her role!

The Demon Prince of Momochi House is a romantic fantasy anime based on the manga series by Aya Shouoto. The story follows Himari Momochi, a 16-year-old orphan who inherits a mansion called the “Momochi House” from her real family. However, she soon learns that the house is located on the border between the human and the spirit realms, and that it is inhabited by three mysterious squatters: Aoi Nanamori, Ise, and Yukari. Aoi is actually the guardian of the house, who has been cursed to lose his human identity and become a demon lord named Nue. Himari decides to stay in the house and help Aoi regain his humanity, while also getting involved in the affairs of the spirits and the other residents of the house.
The anime is a faithful and captivating adaptation of the manga, with a rich and detailed plot. The animation by Drive is smooth and elegant, creating a beautiful and atmospheric setting for the story.
