After a five-year absence, the biggest anime festival event in Southeast Asia returns to Indonesia!
The event entitled Anime Festival Asia (AFA) will take place from 3 to 5 May 2024, at the Jakarta Convention Center.
Interestingly, one of the largest and most popular manga publishers in the world, SHUEISHA, will also be present at this event to introduce MANGA Plus to manga fans in Indonesia.
1. Show off various original artwork
Through MANGA Plus, visitors can read more than 8 works published by SHUEISHA which have been launched since 2019, and have also been translated into various languages, namely English, Spanish, Thai, Portuguese, Russian, French, Vietnamese, German, and not to forget, namely Indonesian.
Later at this event, there will be various original artwork exhibitions and also special giveaways for visitors who download the application.
2. Get to know more closely one of the phenomenal manga titles
Not only introducing the MANGA Plus platform, but SHUEISHA also brought one of its manga artists to the MANGA Plus STAGE session, which presented manga artists from the phenomenal series ‘Kagurabachi’ and their editors.
Kagurabachi itself tells the story of a young man named Chihiro who spends his days training under the guidance of his father who is a famous swordsman. But one day, tragedy suddenly strikes, and Chihiro and his sword live only for revenge.
3. Follow the special talk show at AFAID 2024!
You can enjoy the stage talk show with mangaka Kagurabachi and his editors by purchasing a day stage ticket which is included with the entry ticket to the AFAID 2024 event.
