Slime Taoshite 300-nen season 2 in 2025 with new staff

The official website for the anime series adaptation of the novel Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita (I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level) by Kisetsu Morita announced that the second season will debut in 2025.

You can see above a promotional image for this second season, which will have the title Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita ~Sono Ni~ (I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level 2).

It was also revealed that there will be staff changes. The animation is no longer from the studio Revoroot (Furi Kuri Alternative) and passed into the hands of the studio Teddy, Kunihisa Sugishima (Beyblade franchise, Strike Witches OVA) is replacing Nobukage Kimura in the direction and Naohiro Fukushimascriptwriter for episodes of the first season, is supervising the script for the new season, rather than Tatsuya Takahashi. The character design is no longer Keisuke Goto (Fate/Grand Order: First Order, Babylon) and passed into the hands of Hikaru Kodama.

The novel began publication in Shōsetsuka ni Narō in June 2016 and SB Creative published the 14th volume on July 14, 2020. The manga adaptation began publication in June 2017 in Gangan Online and Square Enix published the 7th volume on September 12, 2020.
