In one of his many interviews to promote the premiere of the anime film The Boy and the Crane (The Boy and the Heron), directed by the renowned director Hayao Miyazaki at the Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away; My Neighbor Totoro; The Walking Castle; Princess Mononoke), producer and co-founder Toshio Suzuki addressed the difficulty in replacing Hayao Miyazaki at the studio.
