With this teaser trailer and promotional image, the studio MAPPA announced the original anime series ZENSHU. More information will be revealed in the AnimeJapan 2024.
With animation of course by the studio MAPPA (Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, The God of High School, Dororo, Dorohedoro), directed by Mitsue Yamasaki (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle, Tada Never Falls in Love), the story is by Kimiko Ueno (Carole & Tuesday, Astro Note) and the character design is by Yoshiteru Tsujino (FLCL: Grunge) with these designs to be put into animation by Kayoko Ishikawa (Sarazanmai) who is also an animation director together with Shuuji Takahara, Kazuko Hayakawa It is Etsuko Sumimoto. Music is the responsibility of Yukari Hashimoto (Komi Can’t Communicate, March comes in like a lion).

Synopsis of ZENSHU
After finishing high school, Natsuko Hirose begins her career as an animator. Her talent blossoms quickly and she makes her debut as a director in no time. Her first anime becomes a huge success, triggering a social phenomenon and earning her recognition as a genius director on the rise. Her next project will be a romantic comedy film with the theme of first love! However, having never been in love, Natsuko struggles to understand the concept of first love and, as a result, is unable to create the storyboard, paralyzing the film’s production.
