Solo Leveling is certainly one of the animes that is being most appreciated by the public this season, if not the most appreciated. However, the series is also not free from controversy.
Recently, the Korean studio called Studio PPURI responsible for closing Solo Levelinghad his name removed from the credits for being linked to the feminist group called ”Megalian”.
Studio PPURI is removed from Solo Leveling Credits in Korea only
Below you can see where Studio PPURI’s name appears in the credits at the end of Solo Leveling and apparently in the South Korean version the studio’s name was removed.
To understand better, the group Megalian is a Korean feminist group seen as very radical, so much so that its logo is a symbol of an emoji that is intended to mock masculine characteristics.
We recently published here the whole controversy involving the work of Studio PPURI, as it was discovered that in several animations in which the studio participated, Megalian’s symbols were inserted without permission.
