In addition to the promotional image that you can see above, the official website of the anime series adaptation of the manga Tasuketsu in Taiga Miyakawa announced that the series will consist of 2 courses (2 parts) that will be shown continuously.
With its premiere scheduled for July 2, 2024 (effectively the 3rd at 01:59), the animation is from the studio Satelight (Helck, Macross Frontier, Aquarion), the direction is Tatsuo Satō (Martian Successor Nadesico, Lagrange – The Flower of Rin-ne) who will have the assistance of Tōru Hamazaki (episode direction for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko). The character design is Nami Hayashi (animation direction for Black Clover) and the music is the responsibility of RON (FLCL Alternative, The Slime Diaries).

The manga Tasuketsu in Taiga Miyakawa was among the top 10 in the “manga we want to see animated” ranking in the events AnimeJapan 2019 It is AnimeJapan 2020.
The first part of the manga Tasuketsu was released in 2021 and ended in 2014, with its second part, Tasuketsu: FINAL KEQbegan to be published in 2015 and ended in 2017. Its third part, Tasuketsu: Judgment Assizesbegan publishing in November 2017
Tasuketsu previously inspired the short anime Tasuketsu: Judgment Assizeswhich was funded through a crowdfunding campaign on Campfire in 2020. The short anime was released in January 2021 and had a different cast than this new project.
Tasuketsu Synopsis
The story follows a group of five people in a world where people have suddenly disappeared. A mysterious self-proclaimed “Emperor” brings five people together through anonymous messages and makes them participate in a game. Participants answer the question “Do you want to live or die?” The game has just one rule: “Most die”.
