A Bandai Namco Filmworks has put online this teaser trailer and promotional image for “Sekijitsu no Shutsugeki” (The Assault of the Burning Sun), the second of 7 anime films by Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 (Yamato yo Towa ni: Rebel 3199), the latest project by Space Battleship Yamato.
The trailer confirms that this second film will premiere in Japanese theaters on November 22, 2024.
The direction is Naomichi Yamato (From the New World, episode direction for Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans), Harutoshi Fukui is overseeing the direction and creating the script and character design is by Nobuteru Yuki. As with previous anime in the series, the late producer Yoshinobu Nishizaki is credited for the original work, and his son Shoji Nishizaki is credited as chief production supervisor and chief copyright supervisor.
The cast will be joined by:

- Takuya Eguchi as Lambell
- Yūto Uemura as Takeshi Ageha
