With this teaser trailer, the official website of the anime series adaptation of the manga Giji Harem (Pseudo Harem) by Yū Saitō announced the main staff.
We now know that the animation is from the studio Nomad (Dropkick on My Devil!), directed by Toshihiro Kikuchi (Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!, direction of Attack on Titan episodes), the script is Yuuko Kakihara (Aikatsu Friends!, Asobi Asobase -workshop of fun-, Buddy Daddies) and the character design is by Yoshihisa Sato (key animation from March comes in like a lion, Re:CREATORS). With musical production by Pony Canyon music is the responsibility of Takeshi Watanabe (To Love-Ru, Ro-Kyu-Bu!, The Duke of Death and His Maid).
In the cast we will have Nobuhiko Okamoto like Eiji Kitahama and Saori Hayami as Rin Nanakura.
Giji Harem (Pseudo Harem) originally began to be published on Twitter in 2018 and in 2019 it began to be published in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday (Gessan). Its 6th and final volume was released in April 2021.
Synopsis of Giji Harem (Pseudo Harem)
The romantic comedy manga revolves around Eiji, a second-year high school student and a member of his school’s drama club as a stagehand. He meets Rin, a first-year high school student and member of the same drama club. Rin serves as the club’s long-awaited hope.
