The most recent edition of Weekly Young Magazine from the Kodansharevealed that the adaptation to anime series from the manga The Fable by Katsuhisa Minami, will premiere on April 6, 2024. Furthermore, it was revealed that the anime will have its world premiere at Disney+ after its debut on TV Tokyo.
The animation is by the studio Tezuka Productions (Adachi to Shimamura, Kanojo mo Kanojo), directed by Ryousuke Takahashi (Armored Trooper Votoms, Phoenix, Ozma). While the script is by Yūya Takashima and Mayumi Morita (Black Jack, Vampire Knight) and character design by Hisama Kinoshita, Saki Hasegawa and Junichi Hayama.
