The new issue of Japanese magazine Weekly Young Magazine revealed that the anime series adaptation of the manga The Fable in Katsuhisa Minami It will premiere on April 6th. After airing on Japanese TV, the episodes of the anime series will be released worldwide in the Disney+.

With animation by the studio Tezuka Productions (Adachi to Shimamura, Kanojo mo Kanojo), the direction is Ryōsuke Takahashi (Armored Trooper Votoms, Phoenix, Ozma), the story is from Yūya Takashima It is Mayumi Morita (Black Jack, Vampire Knight), and the character design is by Hisama Kinoshita, Saki Hasegawa It is Junichi Hayama.

The Fable began to be published in November 2014 in Weekly Young Magazine and ended in November 2019. With 22 volumes, the manga was voted the best manga in Kodansha Manga Awards 2017.
