With this trailer the Kadokawa revealed that the anime adaptation of the manga The Shiunji Family Children (Shiunji-ke no Kodomo-tachi) by Reiji Miyajimathe author of the manga Rent-A-Girlfriend (Kanojo, Okarishimasu), will premiere in 2025. Below you can see a promotional image.
With animation by the studio Doga Kobo (Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night, Oshi no Ko), directed by Ryouki Kamitsubo (Abnormal Physiology Seminar, Hidamari Sketch), the argument is Noboru Kimura (Skate-Leading Stars, AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline) and the character design is by Miki Mutō (animation direction for My Senpai Is Annoying, Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie).

The Shiunji Family Children (Shiunji-ke no Kodomo-tachi) began publication on February 22, 2022 in the mangaka’s Fanbox and later on February 25 in Young Animal. Its 3rd volume was released on February 16, 2024.
The Shiunji Family Children (Shiunji-ke no Kodomo-tachi) went on hiatus in June 2022 so that Miyajima could maintain a steady drawing schedule, and the work resumed in November 2022.

Rent-A-Girlfriend (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) of Reiji Miyajima It began to be published on July 12, 2017 and its 35th volume was released on February 16, 2024. Rent-A-Girlfriend inspired an anime series in July 2020 that had a second season in July 2022 and a third season in July 2023. In 2025 a 4th season will premiere.
