This weekend at the event GA Fes 2024 the staff of the anime series adaptation of the novel was revealed My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me! (Tomodachi no Imōto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai) by Ghost Mikawa.
We now know that the animation is from the studio Blade (Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!), directed by Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend, The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist, The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases), the argument is Touko Machida (Lucky Star, Wake Up, Girls!) and the character design is by Katsuyuki Sato (My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex, Fire in His Fingertips -My Childhood Friend is a Fireman-).
In the cast we have:
- Haruki Ishiya as Akiteru Ooboshi
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Iroha Kohinata
- Tomori Kusunoki as Mashiro Tsukinomori
- Sōma Saitō as Ozuma Kohinata
- Kana Hanazawa as Sumire Kageishi

The first volume of My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me! (Tomodachi no Imōto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai) was released in April 2019 with illustrations by tomari. A manga adaptation is being designed by Hira Hiraoka.
