Theory: How Did Tobirama Die from Kinkaku and Ginkaku in Naruto?

Unlike Hashirama Senju, whose death was mysterious, his younger brother Tobirama’s death has been explained.

Tobirama died after he and his troops were surrounded by Kinkaku’s forces in the First Ninja World War.

But what happened at that time and why did Tobirama die?

1. Tobirama’s goal is to bait and protect new ninjas

In the First Ninja World War, Tobirama and his new ninja troops were surrounded by Kinkaku troops and there was no safe way out for all his troops.

Because of that, Tobirama sacrificed himself as bait so that the young ninja from Konoha could escape safely.

Of course, considering the situation, they were no longer in a safe condition and even before there was no good way to escape, Tobirama’s fight would be long because he had to hold off Kinkaku’s troops from chasing Hiruzen, Danzo, and the others.

2. Tobirama was ready to die there, that’s why he named Hiruzen as Hokage Third

Tobirama seems to know that his young ninja squad will be in danger if he doesn’t sacrifice.

Because of this, it is very clear that Tobirama was ready to die when he became bait for Kinkaku’s troops.

The strong reason is clear because he immediately appointed Hiruzen as Hokage next, meaning he was sure that he would not return to Konoha safely.

3. On the other hand, Kinkaku’s troops are not just any ninja

Maybe many of you are thinking why? Hokage Others can fight thousands of troops alone and survive, why couldn’t Tobirama survive against Kinkaku’s troops?

The reason is because Kinkaku’s troops do not contain ordinary ninja, not even Kinkaku and Ginkaku pesudo-Jinchuriki alias Jinchuriki which is not full but has power chakras Kurama.

Apart from that, the other members of the Kinkaku squad are almost certainly all of them Jonin Kumo are strong and dangerous, they are definitely as difficult an opponent as the fight 2 Jinchuriki and many other troops too.

4. Kinkaku and Ginkaku themselves are descendants of Hagoromo

Actually, it is very natural why Tobirama could die by Kinkaku, especially since the scenario is not 1 vs 1 but 1 vs many Kinkaku troops.

Not to mention that Kinkaku and Ginkaku are both clear descendants of Hagoromo chakras Hagoromo’s size, strong physical strength, and various legendary weapons.

So it can be expected that this fight lasted a long time and Tobirama ran out of energy while there were a lot of Kinkaku troops so Tobirama lost.
