Theory: Why did Kashin Koji help Boruto? What’s the Motivation?

Kashin Koji helps Boruto during timeskipespecially in the moment when Sasuke becomes a tree after being devoured Tsumeaka.

Of course Kashin Koji’s help is very good, considering that Boruto is alone outside Konoha and Koji’s help is very important.

But what is Kashin Koji’s motivation to help Boruto? Here are some possibilities.

1. Koji’s goal is still the same, namely to stop Isshiki and his plans, it could be the same for Boruto

Kashin Koji is a clone of Jiraiya who was created by Amado for just one mission, namely to defeat Isshiki Otsutsuki so that the world is not destroyed.

Koji once tried to kill Isshiki but failed.

Indeed, Isshiki died later, but his plans were passed on to Code.

If they are both targeting Code, that means Kashin Koji and Boruto have the same goal.

2. Koji is also affected by Eida, it is possible that he thinks Boruto is Kawaki

Is Koji also affected by Eida’s power? Possibly yes. Even though he is a clone, Koji is more human than Delta who is like a ninja weapon, and Delta alone is still affected by Eida’s power.

It is possible that Kashin Koji came to Boruto outside Konoha because he thought he was Kawaki. Koji and Kawaki were also previously on the same side.

Because the person he met was Boruto (supposedly Kawaki), the complicated situation continued until Koji trained Boruto and helped him as we see now.

3. Koji may still be under Amado’s plan, so he has to monitor Boruto (Kawaki)

It’s possible that Amado still has a connection with Kashin Koji, even though they haven’t been seen communicating since Koji failed to kill Isshiki.

However, Kawaki is an important part in Amado’s plan to resurrect his daughter. Karma that Amado planted is in Kawaki. If Amado is still directing Koji, he will obviously ask Koji to monitor Kawaki.

But Amado also realized that something was strange, because Boruto and Kawaki were swapped in people’s memories, so… Karma for the daughter he planted as if he had been swapped between Boruto and Kawaki.

Because of this confusion, if Amado is still directing Koji then it is only natural that Koji is on Boruto’s side (it should be Kawaki).

The next possibility why Koji helps Boruto is because the human side and Jiraiya’s side in Koji’s body might appear.

He may have met Boruto because it was supposed to be Kawaki (in his memory) but he persisted in looking after and training Boruto because of his human side, like Jiraiya who is human.

Maybe it’s also Koji’s human side that makes him try to believe Boruto’s words about him and Kawaki being swapped in people’s memories.
