Trailers for the anime films have now been posted online Kurayukaba It is Kuramerukagari in Shigeyoshi Tsukahara It is Twiflo. In the trailer for Kurayukaba we can hear the theme “Naisho no Uta” by Charan-Po-Rantan and in the trailer for Kuramerukagari we can hear the theme “Bokura no Hakoniwa” by Masayoshi Ōishi. Both anime films will premiere on April 12, 2024.
With animation by the studio Makariathe anime film Kurayukaba is directed by newcomer Shigeyoshi Tsukahara (The Man Traveling with the Brocade Portrait, Joseito, Hashi no Mukou). The character design is Kazunori Minagawa (animation director of Macross Delta, Tokyo Ravens, Yuruyuri, Code Geass: Akito the Exiled) and Ryo-timo (Yozakura Quartet) is credited as special animator.
maxcaffy is handling CG and serving as director of photography. Pochi is responsible for the original art and sets. The design works team members are Chōta Akatsuki, Keeze, Takeshi Ishikawa, Kazunoko, Kitsuneiro, Kahi and Shie Nanahara.
