O official site adaptation to anime series from the novel The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases, written by Shin Kozuki and illustrated by Chocoan, released a new trailer and new promotional image. Anime is scheduled to debut in April 2024.
The animation is by Studio Deen with the collaboration of the Marvy Jack studio (the same studio duo as Nanatsu no Taizai 4). Meanwhile, the direction is by Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend), script by Yoshiki Okusa (Farewell, My Dear Cramer) and character design by Saori Hosoda (Phantom of the Idol).
A light novel written by Shin Kozuki and illustrated by Chocoan, began to be published by TO Books in 2018. The series originated as web novel. Currently, an adaptation of the mango per Karasurmaru It’s in the magazine Comic Corona.
