Scheduled to premiere on August 9th, you can see above a trailer for the second compilation film of Bocchi the Rock!. This film is titled Bocchi the Rock! Re:Re: and in the video we can hear the theme “Seiza ni Naretara” (If I could Become a Constellation).
The animation is from the studio Cloverworks (The Promised Neverland, Wonder Egg Priority, Spy x Family), directed by Keiichiro Saito (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Regards), the script is by Erika Yoshida (Lupin III: Part IV) and the character design is by Kerorira (animation direction for Wonder Egg Priority).
In the cast we have:
- Yoshino Aoyama like Hitori Gotou.
- Saku Mizuno like Ryou Yamada.
- Ikumi Hasegawa like Ikuyo Kita.
- Sayumi Suzushiro like Nijika Ijichi.
Bocchi the Rock! began to be published in December 2017.
Synopsis of Bocchi the Rock!
The manga’s story follows Hitori “Bocchi-chan” (“Loner”) Gotō, a lonely high school student whose heart is in her guitar. She does nothing every day except strum the guitar alone at home. However, one day she meets Nijika Ijichi, who is looking for a guitarist for her band, “Kessoku Band”.
