You can see a trailer above that reveals that an anime film adaptation of the novel Ganbatte Ikimasshoi in Yoshiko Shikimura it will debut on October 25, 2024. Below you can see a first promotional image.
With animation by the studios Moe It is REIRSthe direction is Yūhei Sakuragi (The Relative Worlds, Ingress) who also participates in the script together with Keiichirō Ōchi (Aikatsu!, The Quintessential Quintuplets) and the character design is by Asako Nishida (Love Live! School idol project, Land of the Lustrous). Distribution is the responsibility of Shochiku.

The novel’s story revolves around the members of a sailing club at a girls’ high school in the city of Matsuyama, in Ehime Prefecture.
The novel won first prize at the “Bocchan Literary Prize” in 1995 and inspired a live-action film in 1998 and a live-action series in 2005.
