We now know that the animation is from the studio Maho Film (Doctor Elise), directed by Yūji Yanase (By the Grace of the Gods, In the Land of Leadale), the argument is Sawako Hirabayashi (Delicious Party♡Precure, Wolf Girl & Black Prince) and the character design is by Yuko Watabe (Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp) and Eri Kojima (I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss). Music is the responsibility of Moe Hyūga (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, Steins;Gate 0).

Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo began to be published in Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) in December 2018 and physically began publication in 2020 with illustrations by Hayase.
A manga adaptation by Hoshi began to be published in B’s-LOG COMIC in September 2020 and Kadokawa launched its 4th volume on August 12th. The work (novel + manga) has more than 850 thousand copies in circulation.
