With this trailer the Kadokawa announced that the anime series adaptation of the novel I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History (Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo) by Izumi Okido will premiere on October 1, 2024. The video highlights the character Alicia Williams played by Kanna Nakamura.
With animation by the studio Maho Film (A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life), directed by Yuji Yanase (By the Grace of the Gods, In the Land of Leadale), the argument is Sawako Hirabayashi (Delicious Party♡Precure, Wolf Girl & Black Prince) and the character design was handed over to Yuko Watabe (Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp) and Eri Kojima (I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss). The music is the responsibility of Moe Hyuga (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, Steins;Gate 0).

I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History began publication in Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) in December 2018 and its 6th volume with illustrations by Jyun Hayase was released on March 15, 2024. A manga adaptation by Akari Hoshi began publication in B’s-LOG COMIC in September 2020 and its 4th volume was released by Kadokawa in August 2023.
