With this trailer, Kadokawa announced that the anime series adaptation of the novel The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor (Yarinaoshi Reijō wa Ryūtei Heika o Kōryaku-chū) by Sarasa Nagase will premiere on October 9, 2024.
With animation by the studio JC Staff (Edens Zero), the direction is Kentarō Suzuki (Requiem of the Rose King, Angels of Death), the argument is Atsuo Ishino (scriptwriter for Chihayafuru 2, A Certain Scientific Railgun T) and character design is by Sana Komatsu (The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3).

The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor began serialization in Shōsetsuka ni Narō in November 2019. A manga adaptation by Anko Yuzu began to be launched at Comp Ace in July 2020.

Jill is sentenced to death by her fiancé, the Crown Prince. But just before she dies, she is sent back in time six years to the party where her engagement was decided.
