Trailer reveals release date for Part 2 of Kengan Ashura 2

With this trailer the Netflix revealed that the second part of the second season of the anime series adaptation of the manga Ashura King in Yabako Sandrovich will premiere on that streaming platform on August 15, 2024. In the video we can hear the opening theme “Feel My Pain” by HEY-SMITH.

The rapper Jin Dogg sings the ending theme “NANI?!” and below you can see a promotional image.

Ashura 2 will feature the finals of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament and the conclusion of the original story.

The first season of the anime was released on Netflix on July 31, 2019. The animation was delivered to the studio Larx Entertainmentthe direction is Seiji Kishi (Danganronpa The Animation, Yuki Yuna Is a Hero), the script is by Makoto Uezu (Akame ga KILL!, The Heroic Legend of Arslan) and the character design is by Kazuaki Morita (Tsuki ga Kirei, Assassination Classroom).

Ashura King began to be released in 2012 and in the manga’s story, companies and merchants spend large sums of money to hire fighters for unarmed hand-to-hand combat. The winner takes all in these Kengan competitions that originated in the Edo period. Merchants use the fights as a means of settling disputes among themselves.

The strong and mysterious Ouma Tokita, whose nickname is Ashura, enters these fights. President Hideki Nogi of the Nogi group keeps his ambitions to himself when he meets Ashura. Events begin to unfold around the Kengan fights with Ashura in the middle.
