The official website for the anime series adaptation of the novel Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Dōchū (Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy) by Kei Azumi revealed with this trailer that the premiere of the second season will take place on January 8, 2024. In the video we can hear the opening theme “Utopia” by Keina Suda and the closing theme will be “My Factor” by Kent Itō.
As we previously reported, this second season will last two arcs (2 parts) that will be broadcast consecutively.
The animation passed from the studio C2C (Harukana Receive, WorldEnd) to the studio JC Staff (Edens Zero), the direction is again Shinji Ishihira (Fairy Tail, Log Horizon, Super Lovers) and the story returns Kenta Ihara (Saga of Tanya the Evil, Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter). The rest of the staff is also the same, the character design is Yukie Suzuki (Fight League: Gear Gadget Generators) and the music is the responsibility of Yasuharu Takanashi (Fairy Tail, Log Horizon, Super Lovers).

The story revolves around Makoto Misumi, an ordinary student summoned to an alternative world as a brave warrior. Unfortunately, the goddess of the world said with disdain: “Your face is ugly”, stripped him of his title and banished him to the farthest outskirts of the desert.
While wandering the jungle, Makoto encountered dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves, and all sorts of other non-human species. Due to differences in the environment of his home world, Makoto now has extraordinary powers in magic and combat. Thus, he survives in this world while dealing with various encounters.
Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Dōchū (Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy) began publication in Shōsetsu ni Narō in 2012. A manga adaptation by Kotora Kino began to be published in 2016.
