O Anime!Anime! This survey is carried out every year and this year was no exception. On February 17th in Japan, “Angel Whisper Day” is celebrated. This is another name for “diamond dust,” which forms when water vapor in the atmosphere freezes. It was created in 1994 to celebrate the coldest temperature registered in Japan, -41.2 degrees Celsius, observed on the same day in 1978 in Hokkaido.
When they think of Whispers of Angels, many people think of the seiyuus. The seiyuu who bring the characters to life are sometimes called angel voices.
In this context, the anime industry comes together to celebrate the exceptional talent of seiyuu who captivate fans with their angelic voices. Every year, anime fans in Japan eagerly await the results of a poll conducted by Anime!Anime! which chooses the seiyuu who has the most heavenly voice.
This year was no exception. From February 2nd to 9th, thousands of fans participated in the annual poll entitled “Which seiyuu do you think has the most angelic voice?” organized by Anime!Anime!. The results reveal fans’ preferences and appreciations towards seiyuu who have left an indelible mark on the anime industry with their soft, melodious and enchanting voices.
