Voice Actress Ayaka Suwa, Manga Creator Kotoba Inoya Announce Marriage

Voice actress Ayaka Suwa and manga creator Kotoba Inoya both announced their marriage on their respective Twitter accounts on Sunday.

“It’s a personal matter, but at this time, I have gotten married. My partner is Kotoba Inoya, with whom I worked on Runway de Waratte. I want to cherish this encounter and continue to grow as a person and actress every day, so I can become a better artist,” Suwa wrote on Twitter. “I want to work hard in my own way so that I can continue to thank everyone who always looks out for me and supports me, and so that I can deliver wonderful things! Finally, I am who I am today because of everyone who discovered, met, and encouraged me. From the bottom of my heart, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you for your continued support!”

“On a personal note, I have gotten married to voice actress Ayaka Suwa. I will do my best to continue drawing interesting manga in the future, so please continue to support me,” Inoya posted on Twitter with an illustration (pictured above).

Suwa began her voice acting career in 2011 with the role of a junior high school girl in Goulart Knights: Evoked the Beginning White. She landed her first leading role as Tokaku Azuma in Akuma no Riddle (Riddle Story of Devil) in 2014.

Her other notable roles include Eris and Chris in Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!), Echizen in Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge (Tanaka-kun is Always Listless), and Mujina in SSSS.Dynazenon.

Inoya debuted as a manga creator after winning the Special Prize at Weekly Shounen Magazine’s 95th Newcomer Manga Award with the Hoshi ni Negai wo one-shot in 2016. In 2017, he began serializing Runway de Waratte (Smile Down the Runway) in the same magazine and ended it in July 2021.

The manga received a television anime in Winter 2020, in which Suwa was cast as Fumiyo Niinuma.
