O Volume 05 – Illusionslike Volumes 03 and 04, will feature two editions: the usual, in black and white; is special limited edition (already sold out), with the six pages of the introduction and three pages of Chapter 32 in color, a different back cover and exclusive offers. Both editions have 352 pages.
Following the events of the previous volumes, the protagonist Eyren Caeli and his companions will find themselves with a challenge completely different from the missions they were used to: a new threat hangs over the Maegian and real life will put their scars to the test. !
Magic, adventure and even more unexpected challenges will be the theme of this volume, which will close the first of the three arcs planned by the author.
Inspired by graphics mangothe series was planned between 2008 and 2015, and began to materialize in 2018. In 2020, the author decided to take advantage of the potential of crowdfunding (collaborative financing) and launched the fundraising campaign to print the Volume 01 – Prelude (www.ppl.pt/enerelis). In July 2021, the author invested again in crowdfunding to gather support for printing the Volume 02 – Blood (www.ppl.pt/enerelis02).
In May 2022, the author launched the Volume 03 – Shadows and, in January of this year, launched the Volume 04 – Scars.
Since the launch of Volume 03, the author has been present at several events to promote this series.
Soon, the author will be present at the Lisboa Games Week (FIL, November 23rd to 26th)at the Artist Stalls, and also at the Geek Market 2 (Lagar da Quinta de S. Vicente – Telheiras, 16th and 17th December) where you will have the books available, just like prints, merchandising of the Chronicles of Enerelis, and where you can carry out live commissions.

Synopsis of Volume 05 – Illusions
“Enerelis is one of the three worlds parallel to Earth. At peace for fifteen years, it is populated by different races and creatures that were born thanks to the existence of two opposing forces, Nox and Aether, giving its inhabitants extraordinary abilities.
In the aftermath of the tragic encounter with Aria and Zendian, Eyren and his companions are surprised by the Echeron’s decision to suspend all stages due to the sudden appearance of dead maegian in training.
Forced to keep their identities hidden to survive the threat that hangs over the four of them, real life becomes a challenge that will test the resistance of their scars.
Who will the four companions become if they can’t be who they really are? How will they overcome the mist of illusions that has plunged all Divisions into chaos and fear?
And how will Enerelian defenses be able to encounter an enemy as discreet as it is insidious, who will jeopardize a peace that was thought to be lasting?”
About the author:
Patrícia Costa is an illustrator and comic book author, and began her career in comics in 2018, by attending the 1st Initiation Course in Sequential Art, taught by Susana Resende.
Subsequently, she was the winner in the comic contests promoted by the 29th Amadora BD (1st place in Category A+), and in the 13th and 14th BDteca de Odemira (3rd places), as well as in the XVII Central Comics Trophies in category for Best Short Work in 2020. He also participated with short works in some issues of the fanzine Outra Bandas, published by Colectivo Tágide, and drew “Possession”a story written by Penim Loureiro, published in H-Alt magazine #9.
The first three self-released albums of “Chronicles of Enerelis” They already have several nominations and awards within the sector.
At the moment, it is in the layouts of Volume 06 of Chronicles and is preparing a short comic inspired by an autobiographical book by a Portuguese man who lived “clandestinely” in his own country during the Estado Novo, scheduled for publication in the first half of 2024.
