Takashi Iizukathe games director Sonic The Hedgehog was accompanied by some of the game’s voice actors Sonic X Shadow Generations on a panel in the Anime Expo 2024 where they revealed some curiosities about the ultimate form of life.
However, at the very end they also revealed that the game will be accompanied by a set of 3 animated episodes that will be released on YouTube about its origins. Fortunately, and to whet our appetites, the production showed a glimpse of what we can expect.
The episodes of Sonic x Shadow Generations – Dark Beginnings Prologuewill be produced by Studio Gigex (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Turtles), will be released in the fall of 2024 and will explore the past of the black hedgehog. In this glimpse we discover that Emerl, the humanoid Gizoid of Sonic Battle will play a fundamental role in the story because in this new version it promises to be the catalyst for the entire tragic past of the characters. Interestingly in Sonic BattleShadow is the one who showed the most animosity towards the yellow robot.
