A EMOTION has put online the first 5 minutes of the first of 7 anime films Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 (Yamato yo Towa ni: Rebel 3199), the next project of Space Battleship Yamato.
The video briefly introduces a new heroine, Sasha/Mio Sanada. A new invasion of Earth by a mysterious black object begins. Meanwhile, a new conspiracy regarding the invasion is being revealed on Earth by Yasuo Nanbu (CV: Kenji Akabane), the heir son of Nanbu Industries, who was involved in the construction of Yamato.
In addition, a 20-minute summary of the previous parts has also been posted online, which will be shown in theaters before this first chapter.
The direction is Naomichi Yamato (From the New World, episode direction for Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans), Harutoshi Fukui is overseeing the direction and creating the script and character design is by Nobuteru Yuki. As with previous anime in the series, the late producer Yoshinobu Nishizaki is credited for the original work, and his son Shoji Nishizaki is credited as chief production supervisor and chief copyright supervisor.
