The uncredited opening and ending sequences of the second part of the anime series adaptation of the manga were released today. Shangri-La Frontier: Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to su (Shangri-La Frontier: Crappy Game Hunter Challenges God-Tier Game) by Katarina with illustrations by Ryousuke Fuji.

In the video above you can see the opening with the theme “Danger Danger” by FZMZ feat. icy and below the closing with the theme “Gajumaru ~Heaven in the Rain~” by ReoNa.

Don’t forget that after today’s episode the anime series Shangri-La Frontier will take a break due to a special program, returning the following week on January 21st.

The animation is from the studio C2C (Harukana Receive, Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu), directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka (Harukana Receive, Wandering Witch – The Journey of Elaina) with the assistance of Hiroki Ikeshitathe script is by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Black Clover, Dropkick on My Devil!, Hetalia The Beautiful World, In the Land of Leadale, Record of Ragnarok) and the character design and animation direction is by Ayumi Kurashima (DEVILMAN crybaby, Megalobox 2: Nomad).

Shangri-La Frontier: Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to suby Katarina and Ryousuke Fuji, was among the TOP 10 of the most promising manga of 2021.

Shangri-La Frontier: Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to su began to be published in Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2021, based on the novel written by Katarina with the same name and which began to be published in May 2017.

Synopsis of Shangri-La Frontier

Rakurou Hizutome, a second year high school student, is only interested in one thing: finding “shitty games” and beating them. His playing skills are unparalleled, and no game is too bad for him. So when he’s introduced to the new VR game Shangri-La Frontier, he does what he does best: maximizes and skips the prologue straight into the action. But will even a skilled player like Rakurou be able to discover all the secrets that Shangri-La Frontier hides?
