Why didn’t chapter 252 of Jujutsu Kaisen come out this week and when will the spoilers come out?

Jujutsu Kaisen It’s one of the best manga series out there. Created by Gege Akutami, this dark fantasy series began appearing in Weekly Shōnen Jump in March 2018 and, by January 2024, had already had around 25 volumes published. After that epic fight between Yuta and the King of Curses in the last chapter, everyone is dying to know what comes next. But, hey, this week there won’t be chapter 252 of JJK.

Why isn’t JJK chapter 252 coming out this week?

In the last chapter, we saw Maki arriving and giving Sukuna a blow with her katana, leaving everyone waiting for what would happen next. The focus was a lot on Yuta, Yuji and Rika, but there was also a concern for Megumi because of Sukuna.

Everyone was looking forward to chapter 252 after Maki’s surprise appearance, but unfortunately, the chapter was postponed. Now, we have to wait until March 3rd to see, because it won’t appear in the February 25th edition.

They didn’t say why the delay was happening, but it could be something on Akutami’s agenda. The guy usually takes a break every three weeks, and since the last three chapters came out well, maybe he decided to hold off on the next one for a bit.

Even though people were already kind of used to these delays, the news took a lot of people by surprise and left some people upset. There were people on X, which was Twitter, saying that the birthday could be a fiasco because of this, others were already excited to see Maki in action and now they have to wait another two weeks. But there are also those who are happy, happy that Akutami is taking some time for himself.

And the spoilers, when do they come out?

Speaking of which, chapter 252 will be available on March 3rd, noon in Japan, and you can read it in Portuguese on Manga Plus. Spoilers should start appearing on February 29th, around 2:30 in the morning. If there are any delays, we will let you know.
