Since episode and chapter 1, Kawaki has been shown fighting Boruto in the destroyed Konoha village.
Is Kawaki evil? So what is the reason that makes Kawaki evil?
1. Kawaki doesn’t really understand “morals” because of his harsh past.
As humans, we hold fast to morals, to be able to distinguish between good and bad. This has been taught since we were little.
Then what about Kawaki whose childhood was not normal? Clearly Kawaki’s morality is also not right.
Little Kawaki was roughed up by his father and then sold to Jigen, used as an experiment and trained hard. During his growth and development, Kawaki was never taught what was good and what was bad.
Because of that, when he first appeared, Kawaki was indeed rude and didn’t even hesitate to kill, like when he killed Garo.
2. Naruto is the first person to protect him, he loves Naruto very much and is ready to do anything to protect the Hokage.
Since childhood, Kawaki did not have a normal life, but his life became normal after he met Naruto.
Kawaki loves his new father very much and is ready to do anything to protect Naruto.
That’s why when he found out that Momoshiki had the potential to kill Naruto, he threw Naruto into another dimension.
3. Because of the desire to protect Naruto plus Kawaki’s unclear morality, he is ready to do anything. So he looks evil.
What makes Kawaki “evil”, so far it seems that Kawaki really wants to protect Naruto, because of that he is ready to do anything.
The method includes killing Boruto who is Momoshiki’s vessel, this is related to Kawaki’s morality which is still grey.
The other characters can’t just kill Boruto even though they know that killing Boruto is the same as killing Momoshiki.
But Kawaki doesn’t care, he is ready to kill Boruto as long as Naruto is safe from the dangerous Momoshiki.
So that’s what makes Kawaki look evil. What do you think?
