O Wit StudioThe NetflixThe Fuji TelevisionThe Toei Animation and the Shuheisha announced in Jump Festa 2024 who are producing a remake of One Piece exclusively for the Netflixentitled The One Piece.
This new anime version will start by adapting the beginning of everything, that is, the “East Blue” arc where Luffy begins his adventure and gathers Zoro, Usopp, Sanji and Nami to his crew. It is possible that in the future it will cover other arcs, such as Alabalasta or Skypiea, as the video above suggests. This remake will celebrate 25 years of the anime Toei Animation.
The official channel of One Piece at the YouTube also released a new linear anime schedule on October 29, in celebration of its 25th anniversary, titled ANYTIME ONEPIECE. The broadcast began with the first episode of the anime, which will be broadcast over the next year (in Japan only) and will add new episodes as they are broadcast on television.
