O official site in Yuru Camp (Laid-Back Camp) revealed that Laid Back Camp 3 will premiere on April 4, 2024.
The animation of this third season of Yuru Camp (Laid-Back Camp) passed from the studio C-Station (STARMYU, Dragonar Academy) to the studio 8-Bit (Blue Lock, Encouragement of Climb), the direction is now Shin Tosaka (Infinite Stratos 2), the story is of Masafumi Sugiura (Uma Musume Pretty Derby) and the character design passed to Hisanori Hashimoto (key animation from Attack on Titan, Guilty Crown). Akiyuki Tateyama returns as composer and Takeshi Takadera returns as sound director.
Yurucamp (Yuru Camp) inspired a 12-episode anime series adaptation in January 2018 and a 12-episode second season in 2021.
Synopsis of Yurucamp (Yuru Camp)
While the perfect getaway for most girls her age is an extravagant vacation with their loved ones, the ideal way for Rin Shima is to camp alone at the base of Mount Fuji. From pitching her tent to collecting firewood, she has always done everything alone and has no plans of leaving her lonely little world.
However, what starts as one of Rin’s usual camping sessions ends up a bit like a surprise reunion for two when the lost Nadeshiko Kagamihara is forced to take refuge at her camp. Originally intending to see the picturesque view of Mount Fuji for herself, Nadeshiko’s plans are interrupted when she ends up falling asleep. Alone and with no other option, she seeks help from the only person close to her. Despite their hasty introductions, the two girls enjoy the cold night together, eating ramen and chatting while the fire pit keeps them warm. And even after Nadeshiko’s sister finally found her later that night, the two girls silently pondered the possibility of going on another camping trip together.
