Synopsis of Blue Lock
The story begins with the elimination of the Japanese team from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which led the Japan Football Union to start a training program to prepare a team of students who will participate in the 2022 World Cup. Isagi Yoichi receives the invitation to join this program right after his team lost the opportunity to participate in the National championship, having passed the ball to his less skilled teammate, who obviously made a mistake and missed the goal, denoting Isagi’s cowardice for not daring to finish the play himself. .
