Editor's Review
Aria the Scarlet Ammo

“Aria the Scarlet Ammo” is an anime series that aired in 2011. The series is based on a light novel and revolves around a character named Aria, a high school student and a Butei – an armed detective.

The series has been praised for its animation, story, characters, voice acting, and art/music. It has a great tone and feel to it, and it’s a bit dark with some romance. The first season is particularly well-received.

However, the series has also been criticized for its lack of originality. Some viewers have pointed out that the series lacks the bombastic sci-fi/supernatural elements that usually come with the standard harem anime package. The plot was also described as lackluster.

The second season of the series, while not bad, is considered to be a totally different anime. This could be confusing for viewers who are expecting a direct continuation of the first season.

In conclusion, “Aria the Scarlet Ammo” is a series with a lot of potential. While it may appeal to fans of the action genre and those familiar with the light novel, it may not be the best choice for those looking for originality and a coherent narrative. Despite its flaws, “Aria the Scarlet Ammo” is a testament to the charm of its characters and is worth checking out for its unique take on the armed detective genre.
