“Eden” is a fascinating original CGI anime series that takes viewers on a journey to a future where humans have disappeared from Earth. The series is set a thousand years after this event, in a gleaming monolithic city known as “Eden 3″. This city is inhabited solely by artificially intelligent robots who continue to grow agricultural produce, even though their former human masters vanished long ago.
The story begins when two maintenance robots accidentally awaken a human baby girl, Sara Grace, from stasis during a routine assignment on the surrounding farmland. This event challenges their belief that humans were a forbidden ancient myth. Together, they decide to secretly raise Sara in a safe haven outside Eden 3.
The ruler of Eden 3 is a robotic dark lord known as Zero, who wants to destroy humankind. This presents a significant threat to Sara and the two robots raising her. The series explores how they navigate this dangerous world while keeping Sara’s existence a secret.
