With this trailer the official website of BARTENDER Glass of Godthe anime series adaptation of the manga Bartender in Araki Joh It is Kenji Nagatomo (art), announced that the premiere will take place on April 3, 20224.

In the video we can hear the opening theme is “Stardust Memory” by Takaya Kawasaki and the ending theme is “Spica” by Mone Kamishiraishi.

The animation is from the studio Free (The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague), directed by Ryōichi Kuraya (Tsugumomo, Farming Life in Another World), the story is from Mariko Kunisawa (Ascendance of a Bookworm all 3 seasons, The case files of Jeweler Richard) and the character design is by Yōichi Ueda (Gangsta., The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window) who also serves as animation director.

The manga previously inspired an 11-episode anime series that premiered in Japan in October 2006. Masaki Watanabe directed the series on Palm Studio.

Bartender Synopsis

Situated in Tokyo’s Ginza district is Eden Hall, a quiet bar that few people can find. It’s run by legendary bartender Ryu Sasakura, a genius at mixing the right drink for the right customer. Throughout his time at Eden Hall, clients from all walks of life, carrying all kinds of burdens, arrive for a divine cup at the Hall and a kind word with Ryu, both of which help to clarify their problems and revive them for another attempt in life.

Shueisha began serializing the manga in its magazine Super Jump in 2004, and the manga later moved to Grand Jump. The 21st and final volume was released in February 2012.
