A Pony Canyon uploaded the uncredited opening sequence of the anime series adaptation of the manga online Chained Soldier (Mato Seihei no Slave), written by Takahiro and illustrated by Youhei Takemura. In the video we can hear the opening theme “Yume no Ito” (String of Dreams) by Akari Kitō.
The animation is from the studio Seven Arcs (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, White Album, Trinity Seven), Junji Nishimura (Dog Days) is the chief director, the direction is Goro Kuji (episodes of The Lost Village, Bungo and Alchemist -Gears of Judgment-), the script is by Yasuhiro Nakanishi (KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR) and the character design is by Hiroyuki Yoshii (Tawawa on Monday).
When portals to a different dimension known as “Mato” appear across Japan, a new resource known as “Peaches” is discovered, which grants unique abilities only to women. However, dangerous monsters called “Yomotsu Shuuki” also haunt the Mato and are responsible for several disasters since then. To combat them, the government formed the Anti-Demon Corps, an elite group of women who received power from the “Peaches”.
One day, a high school student named Yuuki Wakura was returning from school when he suddenly got lost at the entrance to Mato. When he calls for help, he is immediately rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the head of the Anti-Demon Corps’ Seventh Unit. Recognizing her potential and also needing it to make her power more effective, she asks Yuuki to join the Anti-Demon Corps by becoming her slave, a position he may find more enjoyable than he initially thought…
