It was nowrevealed that the manga Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku has more than 6.5 million copies in circulation.

The premiere date of the film has not yet been revealed. second season of its adaptation into an anime series. The anime series is animated by the studio MAPPA (Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dororo), directed by Kaori Makita (Twittering Birds Never Fly: The Clouds Gather), screenplay by Akira Kindaichi (Garo -Vanishing Line-), Koji Hisaki (Kids on the Slope) is responsible for character design and Yoshiaki Dewa (The aquatope on white sand) is responsible for the soundtrack.

Synopsis of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku:

Captured during an assassination mission, Gabimaru is sentenced to death, but nothing seems to kill him due to his superhuman body. Believing that his love for his wife is unconsciously keeping him alive, the executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri offers him the chance to be pardoned of all crimes by the Shogunate if he finds the elixir of life in Shinsenkyo, a recently discovered legendary kingdom southwest of the Ryukyu Kingdom. After losing five expedition teams sent to the island, this time the Shogunate sends a group of convicts to death row. Each convict is assigned an executioner by Yamada Asaemon, with whom they must return to obtain forgiveness.

The manga, written and illustrated by Kaku, debuted on the manga’s website. Shonen Jump+ in January 2018.
